sp0nge Posted June 16, 2007 Posted June 16, 2007 Hello, i was watching some videos of youtube of VERY low flying aircraft and some very weird stuff like, I saw one land on a road, and then one parked on a bridge. They were french mirage f-1s. Are these sorta stunts used to entertain soldiers or are they just breaking rules for the fun of it. Maybe there are no altitude restrictions? But these things were flying past cars in the desert and stuff. Good Watching. Anyone know? Is breaking the laws of gravity illegal? [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Camoman Posted June 16, 2007 Posted June 16, 2007 Post the links man cmon haha we wanna c da vids 2. But im sure they r just avin fun. In certain places and certain times im sure the rules are relaxed to let them do their thing. After all alot of the rule setting older officers were probably once cowboys 2. =IronAngels= Http://www.ironangelslockonsquad.com Iron Angels Lockon Squad Iron Angels: The Proud, The Few, The Elite
3Sqn_Sven Posted June 16, 2007 Posted June 16, 2007 Depending on the airforce and where they are flying there are occasions where the authorisation is as low as they want. In most air forces, unauthorised show boating is deeply frowned upon, however if it's authorised... 3Sqn - Largest distributor of Flanker, Fulcrum and Frogfoot parts in the Black Sea Region
sp0nge Posted June 16, 2007 Author Posted June 16, 2007 http://youtube.com/watch?v=SRQzhVidLk4 I also found this one which looks pretty cool. It's the swiss airforce - its got some really nice shots going. http://youtube.com/watch?v=JR5bDfD5XV8. --- 3Sqn Sven, thanks for the reply, what happened to you avatar and I don't know about you but if I was incharge of the RAAF I for sure wouldn't let 20+ million dollars be flying at 800km/h 10 metres above the ground :D Cheers ~Sp0nge Is breaking the laws of gravity illegal? Camoman Posted June 17, 2007 Posted June 17, 2007 Thanks for the links mate.. ...I was incharge of the RAAF I for sure wouldn't let 20+ million dollars be flying at 800km/h 10 metres above the ground :D Cheers ~Sp0nge But now think from the pilots seat if you were flying hehe..and there also has to be some training benefit. I have read that in Red Flag they can be cleared to 100 feet for fights. =IronAngels= Http://www.ironangelslockonsquad.com Iron Angels Lockon Squad Iron Angels: The Proud, The Few, The Elite

sp0nge Posted June 17, 2007 Author Posted June 17, 2007 Sheez, thats pretty low, 100 feet ! As you said, thinking from the pilots seat - I would love 2 b there, but I still wouldn't wanna risk 30 million coz to give a pilot a rush. That last one was coming from the guy incharge. nscode Posted June 18, 2007 Posted June 18, 2007 That kind of flying is forbidden with very good reasons. People die from it. And that is bad. Never forget that World War III was not Cold for most of us.
