deadbert Posted November 22, 2018 Posted November 22, 2018 Hi Sorry for the possibly obvious question but I've never had rudder pedals before so not sure if this level of poor calibration is normal. My Saitek/Logitech Pro Flight pedals are off centre. Screenshots attached to show how they look in Windows and in DCS, along with the horrendous deadzone I would need to assign. I've tried the following to recalibrate but the results are exactly the same! https://support.logitech.com/en_ca/article/Recalibrate-the-Flight-Rudder-Pedals-Axes-RegEdit Any advice would be appreciated. I'm tempted to send them back and request a replacement. Thanks Chris
Svsmokey Posted November 23, 2018 Posted November 23, 2018 (Sigh) I too have had bad experience with Saitek . If you can do so , return for refund . Try Thrustmaster , with which i have no experience , or CH , with which i do . MFG Crosswinds are highly regarded , but twice the price or more . Otherwise , you'll have to live with the deadzone , as replacement Saitek not likely to be any better . 9700k @ stock , Aorus Pro Z390 wifi , 32gb 3200 mhz CL16 , 1tb EVO 970 , MSI RX 6800XT Gaming X TRIO , Seasonic Prime 850w Gold , Coolermaster H500m , Noctua NH-D15S , CH Pro throttle and T50CM2/WarBrD base on Foxxmounts , CH pedals , Reverb G2v2
deadbert Posted November 23, 2018 Author Posted November 23, 2018 Thanks for the reply. Refund is no issue as they were new from Amazon. My only issue with the TM or CH pedals are that they look closer together and I have a centre stick between the legs.... that sounded weirder than I intended but you see my issue. The spacing on the Saiteks I thought would help with, erm.... comfort  I can't really go MFG as I've just bought a Warthog and a load of DCS modules and I have even played yet so budget is well and truly blown. Might try CH as they seem the more spaced between them and TM. Thanks again. Chris
AvgWhiteGuy Posted March 6, 2019 Posted March 6, 2019 Does anybody know where I could get new drivers for Saitek Cessna Pedals? After a Windows10 upgrade I get a 'device descriptor request failed' and the pedals aren't recognized. I would appreciate any help to get me through this as I decide which new pedals to purchase.
