nukemgood Posted December 2, 2018 Posted December 2, 2018 This makes the Hornet look like the F-16C (screenshots below). Download from DCS: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3302716/ For those who want to make the F-15C look like the F-15E Strike Eagle, I did a simple reskin: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3302718/
Banman Posted December 3, 2018 Posted December 3, 2018 Took me a bit to figure out where to put this file so figured I'd throw this up because it might assist someone else. I didn't have any other skins so an F-18 file in my Liveries didn't exist. You will need to manually add these file names if you don't have them then just drop nukemgood's file directly into the folder below and unzip it and you should be good to go. C:\Users\YourName\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Liveries\FA-18C_hornet i7-8700K (6 Core, 12MB Cache, 4.6GHz) 32 GB DDR4 XMP @ 2933MHz, GTX 1080Ti w/ 11GB GDDR5X, Windows 10 Pro, 256GB SSD, TM Warthog Stick & Throttle, TM TPR Pedals, TrackIR5
captflyby Posted December 3, 2018 Posted December 3, 2018 (edited) Pardon my ignorance. Is this skin just a paint job, or it supposed to look like an F-16. I put it into C:\Users\YourName\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Liveries\FA-18C_hornet I can go into rearm/refuel and change my livery to the F-16, but aircraft still looks like an F-18. Am I doing something wrong, or just misunderstanding what this is? Not good with mod stuff. Help appreciated. Edited December 3, 2018 by captflyby

It doesn't "transform" your jet into an F16 Viper. It's just for looks. Tiramisu Posted December 11, 2018 Posted December 11, 2018 (edited) I am using the steam-version of DCS and my folder C:\Users\Tiramisu\Saved Games\DCS does not contain any livery folder. Any ideas how I can install modded liveries on my PC? Edit: Never mind, I have found it in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\DCSWorld\Bazar\Liveries Edited December 11, 2018 by Tiramisu
