Moafuleum Posted December 5, 2018 Posted December 5, 2018 Hi I must say i didn't encoutered this by myself (simply because i didn't try it), however I think it is not correct so i choose this forum to post. Sry if i'm wrong. In the video of Wags posted today about the AGM-65F, i noticed at the beginning, during the active pause mode, the fuel quantity on the IFEI is actually increasing as time goes. I think it should be the other way around. After unpausing, the fuel goes down as intended. Did someone already noticed this as well? cheers
Eldur Posted December 5, 2018 Posted December 5, 2018 (edited) Went there to check this and my suspicion was right: He doesn't have full internal tanks, but also at least one external tank fitted and since active pause just freezes the movement of your ownship, the pumps keep on doing their job. If you look closely, the lower fuel value goes up, but the upper one which is bigger goes down. This happens when you take external tanks, but less than 100% internal fuel, regardless of active pause, as soon as you're W off W. Edited December 5, 2018 by Eldur

Shame on me. However it was a remarkable coincidence since as soon as he unpauses, the lower goes down as well, meaning in this very moment, the internals are full, i guess? This coincidence in time probably caused my confusion. At 2:12 min., you can see, that the lower value stopped increasing which is just seconds after the unpause. thanks for clarification
