Faster Cockpit Zoom

It would be great to have a faster in-cockpit zoom option (non-axis). Right now, "zoom" is an abrupt change, with no transition, from your current zoom state to sudden maximums. "Zoom slow" is the best option, but it is just that...a little too slow. Any way to adjust this? Maybe like adding a "Zoom Fast" option as well?

Have a look in your C:\Users\*wilbur81*\Saved Games\DCS\Config\View folder and open the View.lua

 

(edit at your own risk, use Notepad++, always read the label.....etc)

 

Try experimenting with these values....

Can a similar trick to be used to fix the UH-1s copilot zoom, which is way more restrictive for some reason.

Time to resurrect.

 

Our current "Zoom in slow" option in DCS controls is nice... but it is not fast enough in many  circumstances. The other zoom option goes from 0-100% without any transition. Is it possible for the Team to add a "Zoom in fast" that actually zooms progressively? I love the mouse scroll wheel zoom speed I can achieve, but since most high-end HOTAS don't have a scroll wheel, it'd be nice to have a smooth but fast zoom option.
