flying-coyotus Posted December 8, 2018 Posted December 8, 2018 Hello I have two MFD cougar with LCD, it works fine with F/A-18C, A-10C... For planes/helicopters that don't have MFD, I would like to display a JPG in the MFD to show the shortcuts of button insteat of a black screen. Is there a way to do that ? Thanks :)
Roger01 Posted December 8, 2018 Posted December 8, 2018 (edited) "Easy" solution : put "1 screen" in option (instead of 2 screen w/ mfd) when you want to play with a plane without mfd and put a fullscreen JPG on the 2nd screen. Edited December 8, 2018 by Roger01
flying-coyotus Posted December 8, 2018 Author Posted December 8, 2018 yes I thought to that but if you change plane (mfd to non mfd), you need to restart and change monitor profile & resolution :) I would like to know if someone found someting more confortable but thanks ;)

I can't remember from when I had 8" monitors. hsb HW Spec in Spoiler --- i7-10700K Direct-To-Die/OC'ed to 5.1GHz, MSI Z490 MB, 32GB DDR4 3200MHz, EVGA 2080 Ti FTW3, NVMe+SSD, Win 10 x64 Pro, MFG, Warthog, TM MFDs, Komodo Huey set, Rverbe G1
flying-coyotus Posted December 8, 2018 Author Posted December 8, 2018 Dcs restarts if you change resolution or monitors profiles.
horus-DCS Posted December 10, 2018 Posted December 10, 2018 I use helios for that purpose. Just insert ur image file(I recommend png) for the monitor background. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
flying-coyotus Posted December 15, 2018 Author Posted December 15, 2018 it works fine with helios, and no need to restart DCS when changing airplane, thanks :)
