New refueling basket physics ?

Hi,

 

I remeber a while back, before the F/A18 was out, that Wags said he was waiting for updated A2AR basket physics before refueling in a stream.

 

It was a long time ago, have we had any news about this updated basket physics ? Is it still in the works ?

I would also like to know this, I can’t see it being a big enough priority at the moment but something I’m looking forward too.

I believe I remember Wags saying that we will first see it on the revamped S-3B Viking when it comes out. I wouldn't expect it prior to that.

S-3 is my tanker of choice. The basket still sucks but like anything else... we adjust and deal with it. Currently all this refueling stuff is pretty routine for us old timers with occasional hiccups :noexpression:

I've never had a problem getting net... what sucks for me it's trying to match the speed of the tanker..
