berk.kp Posted December 12, 2018 Posted December 12, 2018 (edited) When I switch on the Air to Ground radar to a range of 120, my game gets some serious stutters. I'm using a GTX1070ti so it's not because of my system. This happens mostly when the radar is rendering terrain, over the ocean it is not as bad. Edited December 12, 2018 by berk.kp
Jediteo Posted December 12, 2018 Posted December 12, 2018 The 120 km issue has been resolved internally, and should be included in the next openbeta update. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

While it is a known bug and fix is incoming as the above mentions (yay!) - your GPU performance would not be the bottleneck for the performance issue I would think. From 60km to 120km you're asking your computer to model effectively double the simulation of radar detection, reception, etc. That would be a RAM/CPU issue I would think. --- AJS37 Viggen, F-16C Viper, Adobe Premier. It's mostly a CPU issue - correct. :) Nicholas Dackard Founder & Lead Artist Heatblur Simulations https://www.facebook.com/heatblur/
