Hi ED, hey folks I need some advice

I got a new PC recently with good hardware in it. Here ist my configuration.

2 SSD 1TB 530/550 860 EVOBasic SA3 SAM

MSI MPG Z390 GAMING PRO CARBON Z390

D432GB 3000-16 Aegis 1.35V K2 GSK

Intel Core i9-9900K 3600 1151V2 TRAY

Zotac 11GB D6 RTX 2080 Ti AMP! Edition

Rog PG279Q Monitor 2550 x 1440 Resolution

Using the DCS default settings „High“ in the menu results in 28 to 32 FPS. Is there a known issue or anything I can do ?

Thx

Same here. Usually held steady at a minimum of 45 FPS sometimes shooting up to 90 FPS in Oculus Rift. Now I'm seeing 25-35 FPS at times.

Is the CPU at stock frequency ? Hyper threading of or on ?

What s your windows version ? Do you use a swap file ?

Did you check CPU temp ? Do you use a hdmi or display port cable ?

Are you sure ALL drivers are up to dates ? Bios also ?

Using an nvidia profile tool ? Are you stuck a 30fps or high in the sky a lot more ?

Not a gsync problem ?

Well, since the FPS are certainly better for me since the last patch, and I am still on my same 2012 machine, i5 2500 @ 3,3 GHz and 16GB DDR3 RAM, GTX 960 Strix GPU with 4GB GDDR5, VRAM, Windows 10, I think the culprit might be on your graphics board settings ?

I would recommend:

1) Update your GPU drivers to the latest version AND;

2) Delete the shaders folder(s) - I can never remember where they are located in DCS installs...

I also use Nvidia Inspector, and disable VSync in there and in the game too.

DCS never ran so fast and smooth on this rig Ever!

To rebuild shaders you have to delete FXO and metashaders folders in your saved game dcs folder. It take a few minutes to rebuild them when you launch the game after

I could not describe better what I see with the last update.

Post graphics settings screen. There are some breakers here and there.

Also make sure there's no software running in background of the sim that is not absolutely necessary.

I'm seeing better FPS on a Ryzen 1600 + ATI/AMD RX 480 after this last patch.

But you don' t test in the menu. use a TE or training mission to be consistent.
