BRA - why only when BULLSEYE enabled?

I've noticed that for the BRA function to work, an AA waypoint must be enabled. Is that a bug? Shouldn't we be able to get the BRA (after pressing it's unique push button) with out relation to the BULLSEYE?

You are correct, it should be displayed regardless.
