TheConqueror Posted December 27, 2018 Posted December 27, 2018 i'm playing with my friend.. He take F18 i take A10c how can i mark grounds target for his AGM-65E/F
Puma Posted December 27, 2018 Posted December 27, 2018 Im not sure of the F-18s side of this, but for the A-10 side of buddy lsing, make sure you agree on a laser code (1688 default for A-10 but changable via the tgp cntl page). Find a target in your tgp, laser-arm on. I prefer manual lasing so just hold pinky switch. I would warn you that lots of the F-18 isnt fully implemented so if it doesnt work it may just be premature. It works great, aside from the long standing 8NM bug. I’ve been laying for my hornet buddies and vice versa, using laser mavs and GBUs without problem. It’s a lot of fun! Does this mean laser spot is only good up to 8nm away? Sandman1330 Posted December 27, 2018 Posted December 27, 2018 I’m unfamiliar with the bug. Does this mean laser spot is only good up to 8nm away? Yup. The laser spot ends in midair 8NM from the source, so if the lasing aircraft is further than 8NM, the weapon will chase a point in space in midair.
