[REPORTED] Gunsight illumination axis not using full range

The Spitfire's reticle illumination knob (in-cockpit) gradually increases the brightness (night mode), drops to zero, and then returns again to full brightness (day mode).

 

However when you try to map this knob to a controller axis it becomes impossible to 'reach' 'Day mode' brightness.

 

 

This is the only way I could manage to get my axis to cover the whole range of movement....
