I can get around the patrols, running 0 to +2 boost most of the time. But what gets me is that once we get back the AI have a routine where they hold at a waypoint a couple miles off the runway, and one at a time they peel off and land. The process takes 15 minutes and is a problem when the spitfire doesn't have much more than 1.5 hours total endurance on these missions. I end up with wing men ejecting because they've been sitting in a hold long after we got back over the airfield and I told them to RTB.

What I would really like is if the AI could just fly a low, quick pattern and land. First aircraft straight to the downwind and cut it in the way we've been told spitfire pilots would, 180 degree turn when abeam the threshold. Next aircraft follow close and only go around if they really have to. The whole flight should be able to land in a few minutes.

That is a general problem in DCS, I have the same happening almost all the time in Red Flag campaign for M-2000C, even if player RTBs way above the bingo level, his wingmen usually eject... hope this will be addressed soon!
