Here's an article that implies that the baseline R-60's seeker (OGS-60TI 'Komar') uses an uncooled Lead-Sulfide detector, which would imply rear-aspect only (same as in the AIM-9B). It also implies that the seeker uses a spin-scan, AM logic scheme, which would make it vulnerable to IR jamming and countermeasures.

For the R-60M it implies that its seeker (OGS-75) uses a cooled Indium Antimonide detector, which would imply all-aspect capability (same as in the AIM-9L). The article implies that the seeker uses a conical-scanning, FM logic scheme, which offers resistance against pulsed IR jammers, but still vulnerable to flares.

Page-stamped links for source: Uncooled Lead Sulfide detectors, spin-scan AM logic tracker, R-60, conical-scanning FM logic tracker, cooled Indium Antimonide detectors, R-60M.

Note that the article is structured such that it introduces technology (be it the detector, or the tracker), then goes through missiles which apply to said technology.

I'm not a missile specialist, so maybe you can read more from that than I can. One thing that I know however, is that R-60s are supposed to produce less smoke and flash during launch so in result their launch should be harder to spot. I somewhere have a picture showing comparison of R-3S and R-60.

Interesting, I have the Polish technical manuals of the R-60 and R-60MK, but nowhere do I find these diagrams.
Could you please share your manual?
And does anyone have the German one to share?
If so, I can share my Polish ones.
