Updater 2.9.7.80 stuck in download

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone!

I cannot update to latest Beta v. 2.5.4.26368.

Download keeps stuck at 268mb. Done a repair, several times, checked I-net-connection, turned off Firewall and any protection, re-downloaded latest DCS_updater 2.9.7.80, launched with admin rights ...no luck.

Too bad, ´cause I just bought the Christen Eagle

autoupdate_log.txt is attached

Thanks for any help,

LtDanTailor

Thanks for your reply to my first post in a forum ever! :P

Did another attempt yesterday and felt lucky to see it continue beyond those 268mb. But then it jammed again… just 90mb away from finishing. Had to cancel (again) via taskmanager.

I have read, that it seems to work for some, and does not others.

Guess we´ve got to wait until ED solved their hardware issue.

I had to repair and retry 3 or 4 times before it succeeded. It took much longer than usual, I went away, ate dinner, and it had completed. My internet speed was very fast, so I think it might be a server issue.

I might try that dinner-thing too

Also experiencing the update hang.... As is everyone I know who plays dcs. Saw a post from Dev the other day saying that they were having a server hardware issue that was preventing a hot fix from being downloaded, which I assume is still happening. Here's a novel concept, redundant servers, redundant routers, redundant Internet connections.

Took over an hour to download 15.9 megabyte. Good speed in 1969, but its not 1969.

Any progress on this? Still having this issue. Gets completely hung up even after 6+ hours.

Noticed the latest Updater is now 2.9.8.81.

Using this I could finally succeeded to update to 2.5.4.26552 Open Beta! BTW I was on v. 2.5.4.25729 beta branch before.

Download was with normal speed for my connection. So issues are gone, at least for me. Hope for you as well!
