cmorris975 Posted January 28, 2019 Posted January 28, 2019 Hello, I've read Chuck's guide and watched the one-minute Youtube tutorial but I can't figure out how to get the Mirage even into CCIP mode. Flip the master arm switch, click the BL1 button, set the radar to EM and then switch on the (radar?) altimeter beneath the gun sight. The sight doesn't change and I cannot drop bombs. I've tried setting the bomb's fuze, amount and spacing as well but nothing helps. What am I missing? I can shoot the guns, rockets and Magic 2s just fine. Thanks, Chris
QuiGon Posted January 28, 2019 Posted January 28, 2019 CCIP only works with Snakeeye bombs. So, if you want to conduct CCIP bombing you will have to load Snakeeye bombs (indicated by BF1 on the button display). BL1 tells me, that you have loaded normal Mk-82 bombs, which have to be used with CCRP which requires a target designation first. Also, make sure you don't mix A-G munitions as the Mirages weapon computer doesn't like that. Intel i7-12700K @ 8x5GHz+4x3.8GHz + 32 GB DDR5 RAM + Nvidia Geforce RTX 2080 (8 GB VRAM) + M.2 SSD + Windows 10 64Bit DCS Panavia Tornado (IDS) really needs to be a thing!

baltic_dragon Posted January 29, 2019 Posted January 29, 2019 I'd suggest that you launch a training mission on that included in the module + check the relevant part of the manual :) For more information, please visit my website. If you want to reach me with a bug report, feedback or a question, it is best to do this via my Discord channel. Details about the WinWing draw can be found here. cmorris975 Posted January 29, 2019 Author Posted January 29, 2019 I'd suggest that you launch a training mission on that included in the module + check the relevant part of the manual :) Yeah, that occurred to me as well but I guess I was checking in a roundabout way if there some bugs introduced with bombing like there have been elsewhere recently with the Mirage. Like the bug with nose wheel steering. I hadn't flown the plane in awhile but I remembered bombing being quite easy and was confused when it wasn't. Anyways, thanks for the help.
