Mi-8 Campaign: Spring Tension/Mission:Extraction Mi-8 Crash in tree

As you see on the screenshot:

One of both Mi-8 is crashing at the LZ waypoint2 into the trees. Can you replace the trees?

 

The other Mi is crashing when trying to land.

 

Maybe I get help here to complete the "Extraction" mission?

I dont think the developer cannot do anything about the tree..

BUT the LZ waypoint can be moved very easy to an area where there are no tree. ;-)

 

I did not try the mission, but if you can give your windman orders then maybe ask thim to stop before you yourself fly to the lz. And then ask him to return when you want him to do so.

I tried to give my wingman the order to hold the position. They go on flying and (happy?) crashing :O)

 

Maybe someone can change the direction or LZ for the both Mi-8 in the editor?

 

Or maybe DCS can fix that for all customers next time?

the campaign was made when trees were not collidable i believe, so it probably needs some tweaking. Would not surprise me if AI do not see trees as obstacles.

Here is a fix of the mission. I fixed it myself now...Please backup your old file and put it to an other location. Than you can put this file to:

C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\Mods\aircraft\Mi-8MTV2\Missions\Campaigns

 

If DCS is updating it is possible that this file will be overwritten(maybe).

The above File seems to be broken. Try this one. It should work.

 

 

First make a copy of the original file.

No guarantee.
