Given that neither can cut and neither can engrave metal you may want to just go for cheaper at that level.

Also you have places you can go with the CNC unit that may make it so you can also cut depending on how much you like to fiddle.

That Laser unit is really sub optimal. You want something in the 20-40W range to really be useful.

I just want to engrave only not cut.Cheapper machine is smaller I like the dimensions they can cut. They are 3 or 2W I think 20w will cost a lot of money. You have anything to suggest?

Umm check out your local trophy shop they (at least here) also can usually do engraving in soft metals and perspex and will also be able to do other materials, might be an option.

Control is an illusion which usually shatters at the least expected moment.

Gazelle Mini-gun version is endorphins with rotors. See above.

Currently rolling with a Asus Z390 Prime, 9600K, 32GB RAM, SSD, 2080Ti and Windows 10Pro, Rift CV1. bu0836x and Scratch Built Pedals, Collective and Cyclic.

The only laser I have any real time on is an Epilog Helix my Local Library owns. That's crazy money 40W CO2 InfraRed machine. I'd probably still want to go with a CNC engraver over a couple watt Blue semiconductor laser. You may find the laser only good for paper and wood burning.
