TonyG Posted February 2, 2019 Posted February 2, 2019 Has anyone figured out how to keep static objects bound to the deck of a carrier if you change the carriers original position or waypoints? It's a pain to have to re place them. Example shown in this picture when I moved the carrier to a different spot for a different mission. Static are linked and offset fixation is clicked. 9800X3D, MSI 5080 , G.SKILL 64GB DDR5-6000, Win 11, MSI X870, 2/4TB nVME, Quest 3, OpenHornet Pit
Rudel_chw Posted February 2, 2019 Posted February 2, 2019 This is a recent bug ... On mid December I made a carrier template that I tested several times and I clearly recall being able to relocate the carrier without having this issue. I hope ED will fix it soon. Grimes Posted February 3, 2019 Posted February 3, 2019 Looks like it respects position changes but not any rotational changes. The right man in the wrong place makes all the difference in the world. TonyG Posted February 3, 2019 Author Posted February 3, 2019 OK, I'm not losing my mind. I thought it tracked them before too....I just couldn't remember. Yeah, this is something that hopefully ED can put back to the way it was. Thanks guys. 9800X3D, MSI 5080 , G.SKILL 64GB DDR5-6000, Win 11, MSI X870, 2/4TB nVME, Quest 3, OpenHornet Pit
TonyG Posted February 4, 2019 Author Posted February 4, 2019 Looks like it respects position changes but not any rotational changes. Does a bug report need to be posted or is your awareness sufficient to note the issue? Should this thread be moved to the bug forum? 9800X3D, MSI 5080 , G.SKILL 64GB DDR5-6000, Win 11, MSI X870, 2/4TB nVME, Quest 3, OpenHornet Pit
