Jyge Posted February 8, 2019 Posted February 8, 2019 I already noticed this when flying Huey campaign that it is difficult to fly formation with AI. Today I was playing with Mi-8 and started looking at the AI's flying a little bit more carefully. I came to the conclusion that for terrain following and changing the height the AI, IMO uses too much pitch like an aircraft. I myself tend to use more collective and change the pitch attitude less, this simply to maintain airspeed and preserve the translational lift. The jerky climb that AI does seems very unreal when going over the hill they loose almost all forward speed as they pull up the nose so much...
