Hello everyone, I just bought the Mirage and have been getting acquainted with it. I haven't seen a turn and bank indicator on the dash, and I saw today on a Hoggit thread that someone wrote that rudder coordination is unnecessary on the Mirage. So does the aircraft not need rudder inputs due to aerodynamics, or does it coordinate turns for you, or is something else going on?

Is called FBW mate.

The computer takes the control following some coded rules with every pilot input on the stick, keeping the plane coordinated.

If you really feel like checking coordination ,look closely below the main ADI.

You will discover an inclinometer, or as it is probably more commonly known, a ball indicator, so you can actually check there, if the aircraft is slipping or sliding during a turn.

However as already mentionend by others, the FBW should take care of coordination during turns.

There is no turn indicator as far as I am aware, not that you will be doing much rate one turns anyway in combat.

Should the need overcome you , for IFR training or whatever, simply take TAS/10 +7 as bank angle. Should be close enough..

Kind regards,
