Reproducible: 100%

Date: 2018-02-18 2300Z

Sim version: 2.5.4.27314 Open Beta

Mission: Any

Steps to reproduce:

1. Set radar to bvr/rws scan

2. angle the radar elevation to the highest or lowest

3. Enter WACQ or Vertical Scan. You will not achieve a lock against any target in your hud.

4. Go back to bvr mode and center antenna elevation

5. Go back to WACQ och Vertical Scan - now you can lock targets again.

Problem:

BVR antenna elevation affects ACM WACQ and Vertical Scan modes.

Track: Track attached showing the issue in Vertical Scan. Doing the same in WACQ has a similar effect.

Desired solution: Antenna elevation in BVR modes should be separate from ACM modes

SP/MP: Affects both.

System spec: Tested on multiple systems with same result.

Controllers: Tested on multiple systems with same result.

bvr elevation breaks acm modes.trk

Just to narrow it down.

Having a not-centered elevation before entering WACQ will input a vertical offset to the scanzone.

In VACQ a noncentered radar will input a lateral offset.
