[NO MISSION ATTACHED] E-3A, Wingman not contributing

I have setup some missions with E-3A and wingman but I cannot get them to contribute to datalink picture. I have played other single player mission designed by other, can see wingman and awac symbols but they will not contribute. Just my aircraft alone contributes.

All sensors are enabled in SA option page.

Any idea how to set this up or possibly a mission designed to get to see this as shown by Wags.

By default your wingman's radar is off. You can get him to turn the radar on by giving an 'Engage' or a 'Cover Me' command.

That is very interesting.

They(wingmen) always call both ground and air enemy contacts out with bearing during mission. Have always thought their radar are on by default.

 

I will give the command next time I fly these missions. I guess the a similar call to Awacs to request picture would get them to turn their radar on.

Make sure E3 have EPLRS on command on the spawn waipoint advanced settings
