I find that I have to really twist around to look back more so than real life due to a narrower field of view.

Is there any way we can add a motion tracking curve similar to something like track ir but just much less. For example right now its 1:1 if I turn a 120 deg I get 120deg. It would be awesome if I could say between 0 and 120 deg add 30 deg so by the time I twist 120 deg im looking back 150 deg. we could even add an expo curve so it ramps in a bit faster after 90 deg or make it linear.

Im guessing there are no options for this yet as it would have to be built into DCS or be specific to dcs so it wouldn't effect other VR apps.

It might also be barf inducing as well, for me the 1:1 tracking helps with the immersion.

Although better would be wider field of view with better peripheral resolution. :)

Oh not really, I ride motor bike as well so used to that side of things. The chair I use has fairly small profile back rest so able to move around more easily as opposed to say an office chair with a large back to get around.

I too would like a curve, but maybe for another reason. I'd like to have a smoothness slider, much like there is in TIR. Atleast from the output part to screen/app. This would help to reduce all there twitchy, jerky headmovments for for streams and recordings.

I really try to keep it in mind and compensate for it by moving the head slowly, but when I look at my recording/streams I, myself, getting nausea :-/

Think it's due to HMD users turning our eyeballs first and then head, and then the head "laggs" behind.

I feel like I look at an switch/button/gauges+ some extra time for the viewer+some more time for good measure and then look back up = on stream it's still like "what the...? How did you see that?"

You can try opentrack, I know it used to work with the rift. Not a pleasant experience though, used it about five minutes and never tried again.

There's a thread here somewhere about using it with HMD's.

Shortly after that ordered a fishing boat seat swivel and put it between an auto bucket seat and it's base.
