Hi! I have trouble making a mission for me and my friend. Here is what I want: Me and my friend is going to fly some acrobatics with ether SU-27 or F-15C. I know how to set a F-15C to take off from runway, setting player etc, but when I choose the second plane, and select take off from runway, it disappear when I set client!? How do I set the two planes from the same nation to take off from the same runway? Someone that can explain this to me in steps? Or make a mission I can look at? Ie: Two SU-27, parked at runway, green/red smoke?

You can't set planes "client" and "player" in the same mission. As "player" is to be used for single-player (offline) missions "client" means that aircraft can be chosen by clients (you see the meaning?! ;) ) joining a multiplayer (online/LAN) mission.

If two or more clients are starting from the same base, they will always spawn on the ramp, not the runway. They must be separate flights.

Ok, so the solution is to add two identical planes ie. SU-27 and set both on "client"? Then I have to save the mission, go to network, and start the game with this mission? Do I need to set up a game through Hyperlobby, or can I just set it up in Lock on via Network play? (My pal needs to connect to my ip right?)

You've got it. You don't need HL, but it might be easier if your not sure of your IP.

Be sure to have port 10308 forwarded for both TCP and UDP if you are behind a firewall and want to host a network game.

I managed to work it out by looking at the pre-made co-op missions.

The problem I have now is once you set an aircraft, and waypoints etc, how do you then give the second, seperate flight for the other client, the exact same waypoints etc.

Can anybody help me there.

The other problem I have is when placing statc objects on the ground to practise some bombing. When you place a static B52 for example, is ther a way to place another 3 or 4 without always having to select the country, object type etc. Like in IL2, you can hold control and place them at will. I also dont see an option to go into a 3D view so you can carefully place object where you want. Is this possible in Lockon like it is in IL2.

Thanks for any help.

I think (so could be wrong) you have to set another set of waypoints for each client plane on the mission.

I.e. 9 planes, 9 sets of waypoints.

I don't think it's possible to 'clone' the objects, you have to place each one seperately.
