FC3 A-10A questions, pitch shift with cannon, max speed and lateral HUD ladder shift

1) Why does A-10A pitch shift when selecting cannon in Air to ground mode.

Why does this happen? It's NOT when shooting the cannon. Just hitting 'C' to select cannon causes pitch down with cannon selected and pitch up if 'C' hit again (deselecting cannon). Only happens in Air to Ground mode.

2) Max airspeed below 1000 feet, clean (no flaps, no ordinance, 7000 lbs fuel) seems slow. Is it?

3) Why does the HUD ladder shift to right or left when flying? What does this indicate?

1. Could be PAC? Precise Attitude Control, that helps you with the steady piper.

2. Show the numbers you get.

3. Side drift either from rudder input or crosswind.

Sorry, forgot to include them.

Stabilized at 332 Knots at about 700 feet after 5-10 minutes.

In real life it's suppose to be 381 knots, clean, sea level

Even totally clean with 5% fuel and no wind I got to around 340KIAS. Looks like a bug. Something is too draggy or engine thrust is too weak.

1. The nose drops to compensate for the recoil of the cannon iirc

2. Thats really slow yeah, but the A10C is even slower and since ED doesnt care about old modules good luck getting that fixed.. its been like that ever since it was released

3. Crosswind

Thanks for confirming it isn't just me doing something differently/wrong.
