Once everything is updated and you’ve installed the Tomcat, DCS may default the throttle controls to pitch and roll so just remap it and you should be good. I haven’t checked to see if the same thing happened with the other modules so be warned. It might pop up.

The axis controls for all joysticks need to be set up correctly as the first step in installing any new module. You generally find all the axis bindings are bound to all the controllers, and you'll need to just delete the non-relevant ones.

This has always been the case in DCS World.

Haha!!! Yeah I guess it's sherlock holmes time to figure this shit out lol.

Another thing that popped up is left and right throttle controls do not work independently of each other. I have to leave for work soon so other than checking my left and right throttle in Windows (they work), I don't have time to do more troubleshooting. I assume a lot of helpful info will come out in the next 24-48 hours.

This is an issue in DCS not the F-14, happens on all modules and broke in the update on the 6th. You can get around it by selecting the key or axis from the drop down box instead of pressing or moving it.

What kind of axis tune's user curve or what settings do you use for X56?

I think the controls are bit too sensitive (pitch and roll) by default on my X55 which is basically the same as yours.

I set the curves to 25.
