bonesvf103 Posted March 13, 2019 Posted March 13, 2019 I know it's not really the F/A-18C but there's no F-14 forum yet so just had to share my excitement that I flew the F-14 for the first time on DCS today on a carrier trap and got a three-wire on my first try! Woohoo! I've been flying the Aserosoft F-14 for quite a while now (and prior to that the Team Superhornet F-14 mod and before that Fleet Defender) so alot of what I learned through those sims (the FSX Aerosoft one being most realistic) it was easy to transfer over to the DCS Tomcat. The hard part was getting the controls mapped like the real thing. I'm still trying to figure out how to get the DLC to work properly. It seems to pop on when it wants rather when I want it to, but other than that, she flew like a dream! v6, boNes "Also, I would prefer a back seater over the extra gas any day. Darcwaynard Posted March 13, 2019 Posted March 13, 2019 F-14 forum is under licensed third party projects - heatblur simulations - f-14. Literally 240 users there now and its been there for a long time. Easy to overlook as its not on the upper list with the Eagle Dynamics modules.
