Is there any news on the F15 project or are we at a stand still. I did a little work on the pilot, without a template but you can't do much as you don't know where to place textures, all guess work. Did manage a vest , sweater, some helmet color, unfortunately the sweater and helmet must have same color, but at least it adds some color to the pilot. I noticed you asked if anyone could do something about the pilot and seat. How is that going? I see lots of problems trying to transfer info to .3ds so I guess that kinda stops for us, unless you have a contact that can overcome the problem. Anyway, just a little update if you can. Thanks.Cheers.

yea trying to bring back walmis's F-15 turned out to be a failure. All the methods we tried didn't come out right and the boys down at the zmodeler forum couldn't figure anything out either. So the project is at a stand still unless someone builds another F-15 model from scratch.

Let us hope someone with the talent can make us an F-15 now that we know the Walmis one is lost to us. Any modder reading this we would appreciate a line if someone would be interested in giving the community a complete F15. Our thanks would be unmeasureable. Cheers and pls. help!!! Thanks Super for your super effort, I know you and some of your buddies worked hard behind the scenes to give us a finished F15c and to you Walmis for your efforts in trying to help them. You all deserve a big thumbs up!!!!!

Nothing was wrong with it, however, it was a WIP, and now there can't be any more updates to it since the original model was lost. For example, the shape could be improved to be more "accurate." For example, these pictures, curtsy of Vekkinho shows the difference

This is walmis model

This is ED's stock model

Walmis model is prettier than the real thing ^^

S = SPARSE(m,n) abbreviates SPARSE([],[],[],m,n,0). This generates the ultimate sparse matrix, an m-by-n all zero matrix. - Matlab help on 'sparse'

Walmis did not have a chance to complete the f15. Needs pilot and seat textures, some airframe work, some antennia work, retractable ladder, fuel hookup(got door but no hookup texture inside). Like this was about 95% complete and now its lost. This is not big stuff but finishes the model. Now we have to start from scratch if we want an authentic f15c. Hope this helps. Yes most people fly the Walmis f15 because it looks better than original but the final touches we would all like to see.Cheers.
