cercata Posted March 15, 2019 Posted March 15, 2019 A Flanker got from 18nm with and R-27ET, amazing, I was so surprised, I thougt they were distracted by the other flight. I have to learn now how to fight the Flankers when they use the IRST and Infrered only, that IRST seems good, I hope they make me use it in one of the Su-27 campagins. Regarding the other flight (Dodge 5), by radio aren't they instructed to engage the Su-25s ? In TacView I have seen they make a 180º turn until almost the base, and then 180º again ...
feefifofum Posted March 16, 2019 Posted March 16, 2019 Hi cercata. Yes, the second AI flight should engage the Su-25s. A bug similar to what you're described had popped up in a previous DCS build; if AI were issued a command mid-flight they would return to a previous waypoint before executing the command; it's entirely possible that bug has re-emerged. On my sucessfull mission, mi wingman took care of the frogbots when I told him "attack bandits", instead of going after the flankers. I had the same - my wingman flew away to shoot Su-25, then we did some fight with Flankers, shot one, other run away. Magic said:"Dodge -5, bla-bla-bla. Dodge-4 -RTB" I landed and got 50% success so have to fly again. I was sure that if agic says "RTB" it means "Mission Successful" but ... Problem that it is not clear why mission was not passed. Odessa Posted January 2, 2023 Posted January 2, 2023 Passed Mission 15. The most intense mission so far for me. First time I landed after <bingo> and when I contacted tower they said me "Wait, Dodge-5 is landing".

Spidey002 Posted Sunday at 01:48 PM Posted Sunday at 01:48 PM I get an issue where I'm told to check picture with F10 after reaching waypoint 2 (Gori), but I never see F10 option in comms. The mission still continues even without it, but it seemed odd.

I believe it says to use F10 option (I'll double-check and try to post screenshot). I did check in with F7, and Wizard tells me the picture is clean.

So I took out the Flankers, returned to watch the Hinds do their thing, then went after the Fulcrums. Wingman and I took them all down, but I never got an RTB. The Stick Posted 15 hours ago Posted 15 hours ago (edited) Access the F7 AWACS menu as soon as you get instructed by Magic (not Wizard, sorry) - you should get a picture of all the bandits across the mountains. Stick to your waypoints as far as practicable in order for the triggers to activate correctly (so after engaging the Flankers return back to waypoint 2 and orbit until you get instructed to deal with the Fulcrums. Once you've wacked the Fulcrums you ought to be cleared to RTB- meanwhile Dodge 5 will engage the Fencers on the other side of the AO). 13 hours ago, Spidey002 said: How do you access that?
