Ala12Rv-Birdman Posted March 15, 2019 Posted March 15, 2019 (edited) I really do not know if it is a bug or it is just a matter of physics and is normal.. Going inverted in full gate for a 10 to 15 seconds leads to a total loss of power in both engines. Following that, a lot of noises, like structure cracking.. After half a minute flaring down, not inverted, power is restored by its own. Tried it a couple of times and always happens.. Maybe some problem regarding fuel feeding or something like that..? Thanks. Yesterday I was flying normally and got message Fuel Low then after while both engines went off (at moment when a F-5 was behind me ) I had total fuel of 9000 but I figure out that WING/EXT TRANS switch was OFF. I have no idea why the startup checklist keep telling to switch them off! I forgot them Off all time maybe you did too. The question when I should turn them Auto? i7-6700K | MSI Z170A Gaming M7 | Dominator 32GB 3000MHz | MSI GTX 1070 GAMING Z | 2TB SSD & 1TB HDD | Acer H277HU 27" WQHD | Audeze Mobius | TM Warthog | MFG Crosswind | TrackIR 5 | Windows 10 Pro

Not a bug, the fuel system requires gravity to pass fuel from one fuel tank to another, so when inverted you are limited to the fuel stored on the feed tank of each engine ... from the Natops manual: Zero or negative-g flight longer than 10 seconds in AB or 20 seconds in MIL or less will deplete the fuel sump tanks (cells 3 and 4), resulting in flameout of both engines. Ala12Rv-Birdman Posted March 18, 2019 Author Posted March 18, 2019 Yeaaa, you're true.. found it in the NATOPs. Thanks. Amazing how ED has simulated every single detail and performance of the jet. Still amazed with all around it.. Cheers!! QuiGon Posted March 18, 2019 Posted March 18, 2019 While Heatblur has done an outstanding job with the Tomcat, this feature is pretty common among DCS aircraft. The A-10C has it as well and so do some others IIRC. Intel i7-12700K @ 8x5GHz+4x3.8GHz + 32 GB DDR5 RAM + Nvidia Geforce RTX 2080 (8 GB VRAM) + M.2 SSD + Windows 10 64Bit DCS Panavia Tornado (IDS) really needs to be a thing!

Yes, for example the C-101 has it too :) For work: iMac mid-2010 of 27" - Core i7 870 - 6 GB DDR3 1333 MHz - ATI HD5670 - SSD 256 GB - HDD 2 TB - macOS High Sierra For Gaming: 34" Monitor - Ryzen 3600 - 32 GB DDR4 2400 - nVidia RTX2080 - SSD 1.25 TB - HDD 10 TB - Win10 Pro - TM HOTAS Cougar Mobile: iPad Pro 12.9" of 256 GB
