I dont know if this is a bug or I'm doing something wrong but when bringing the wings out of the oversweep on a cold start up; bringing them forward pushing in the handle and pressing reset puts the wings in manual and they sweep back and dont move. Also sometimes the lever is able to be moved when its pushed in and the wings still do not move forward. Haven't had the issue during a hot start.

How are your wing sweep controls bound? A buddy could not get them to work when bound to a POV hat, but changed the binding to regular buttons and it worked fine.

I'm clicking it

I called getting the handle into the spider dent "Wing Wrestling". It wasn't easy...

Use Master reset to get the detend forward so you can find it.

I'm amazed even that seems to be modelled correctly then twilightsmile.png

Haven't had issues yet myself though. I always pull the handle forward, push it in, press Master Reset and set the sweep to Auto, in that order.

Have the same issue, no matter what i do or in which order wing sweep indication is manual or emergency, and never auto, although wing transition switch is on auto by default.

Even with auto start (Lwin+home) wing sweep is not engaged. So auto startup is not pushing the sweep in 20 degres position, not closing the cover or pressing the spider or reset button.

Ok found the solution: You need to bind the "Wing Sweep Auto Mode" Button on your hotas, and when you are ready to take off press that button. There is no physical switch in cockpit for that

I forgot about that button. Still it's super weird how sometimes it'll go into auto and sometimes it doesn't, maybe it's already on when it's hotstarted although I've coldstarted with no issue before
