NeMoGas
I would love to see the 6DOF cockpit allow for a little more forward lean. As it is right now I can't lean in to see my instruments very well. I always have to resort to using zoom.

Rudel_chw
You can edit the Server.Lua file (I explain the steps on this guide: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=187155) to widen a bit the 6DOF parameters of the Tomcat. I used these parameters: limits_6DOF = { x = {-0.3, 0.50}, y = {-0.70, 0.35}, z = {-0.30, 0.30}, roll = 45.0 }, The aircraft name is "F-14B" ... on this short video you can see how near the front panel I can get ... the video was meant to show how stutter-free the sim got when yesterday I upgraded my ram to 32 GB, so it isnt really meant to show off the 6DOF, but it gives an idea :) xGUWrJDOCQs Best regards. Rudel_chw
Awesome Rudel, will give it a go in the Hornet later! Hornet? .. ups, sorry, dont know where I've my head lately .. I tought that this was a Tomcat thread :( ... however, the technique is applicable to the F-18 too ... here are the values I used for it: https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=3622738&postcount=20 Best regards For work: iMac mid-2010 of 27" - Core i7 870 - 6 GB DDR3 1333 MHz - ATI HD5670 - SSD 256 GB - HDD 2 TB - macOS High Sierra For Gaming: 34" Monitor - Ryzen 3600X - 32 GB DDR4 2400 - nVidia GTX1070ti - SSD 1.25 TB - HDD 10 TB - Win10 Pro - TM HOTAS Cougar - Oculus Rift CV1 Mobile: iPad Pro 12.9" of 256 GB
NeMoGas
So I did everything in that thread and finally got it working after about an hour. I added the server.lau and edited it without a change. I then deleted the server.lau and copy pasted an edited backup in and it worked (it was exactly the same). Then today I jumped on and now it no longer works. Not sure what the issue is, but since I can't get the setting to stick I would still like it officially added some day. NeMoGas
So it seems this will work in a SP mission but not in MP. Also your view settings look different from mine for the F18C. Edited March 24, 2019 by NeMoGas
Rudel_chw
So it seems this will work in a SP mission but not in MP. It works on MP, but some Mission designers can override the adjustments by including a standard view.lua into their missions .. presumably an anti-cheat technique to prevent extreme FOV edits. Also your view settings look different from mine for the F18C. Yes, that’s the idea .. I edited my Hornet values to have a wider movement limit, like shown on this video: LKWApaTw9Ak :) For work: iMac mid-2010 of 27" - Core i7 870 - 6 GB DDR3 1333 MHz - ATI HD5670 - SSD 256 GB - HDD 2 TB - macOS High Sierra For Gaming: 34" Monitor - Ryzen 3600X - 32 GB DDR4 2400 - nVidia GTX1070ti - SSD 1.25 TB - HDD 10 TB - Win10 Pro - TM HOTAS Cougar - Oculus Rift CV1 Mobile: iPad Pro 12.9" of 256 GB
