Captain Orso Posted March 19, 2019 Posted March 19, 2019 Get on ground power on, and then ask for repairs. When the wait-period is over, your aircraft is hoisted up, and the crew chief shouts at you, "Hey! What are you doing?!". When repairs are completed, and your aircraft is lowered to the ground again, your crew chief gets all excited again. Minor, but it sound kind of dumb :P When you hit the wrong button on take-off System Specs. rrohde Posted March 19, 2019 Posted March 19, 2019 Well, of course the aircraft shouldn't move (in any direction) while connected to ground power. So that's why. :) PC: AMD Ryzen 9 5950X | MSI Suprim GeForce 3090 TI | ASUS Prime X570-P | 128GB DDR4 3600 RAM | 2TB Samsung 870 EVO SSD | Win10 Pro 64bit Gear: HP Reverb G2 | JetPad FSE | VKB Gunfighter Pro Mk.III w/ MCG Ultimate VKBcontrollers.com
Harlikwin Posted March 19, 2019 Posted March 19, 2019 Of course nothing happens in DCS... Aside from it being shut off... Be fun to see some consequences for doing things wrong in DCS. Tholozor Posted March 20, 2019 Posted March 20, 2019 This isn't a bug specific to the Harrier, this happens with all aircraft that undergo repairs. Captain Orso Posted March 20, 2019 Author Posted March 20, 2019 I haven't seen the ground power being turned off, but I didn't look for that either. Regardless, you ask the crew chief to turn the ground power on, and you ask the crew chief to start repairs. The aircraft is not being towed away, which should be obvious for the crew chief as well as the crew chief, so there should be no reason for the crew chief to go into crew chief panic mode... :) Maybe RAZBAM can pass this on to the DCS crew chiefs... um, devs :D When you hit the wrong button on take-off System Specs.
