redmantab Posted March 29, 2019 Posted March 29, 2019 Team, A week ago I was able to raise and lower the speedbrake. It seems to no longer be working? Control-B or Shift-B? Anyone else having any issues? Finally, if you have any solutions for how / where to bind on the x52 please share! VR user with x52 flight sticks. Thank you.
Airhunter Posted March 29, 2019 Posted March 29, 2019 You need to press and hold it. Or press B for the toggle.

The point of a speed brake is to create a lot of drag, man. Therefore, if it’s going really fast, it creates a lot of force on the mechanism which deploys it. When you’re going as fast as the Cat especially. It can also cause a whole lot of other problems aerodynamically or structurally, not to mention the fact that when you’re going near top speed, letting off the throttle alone will slow you down a ton.
