Contact AWACS for better Defence awareness

I have forgot how set the radio to ask AWACS airborne enemy position.

 

What the steps to follow?

There are orange thumb wheels on the left side panel, in front of the engine cutoff levers, where you set the frequency (assuming you have simple comms disabled). I don't know the AWACS frequency, though.

not possible. I set AWACS on 137Mhz AM and never respond. I am sure I did some AWACS contact with Ka-50 before. Something is broken?

Nah, it's working as intended. The AWACS will only respond to fast movers and not to helos. That's the reason the heli tournament is using human GCI.

But you should be able to hear AWACS in the Ka-50 when he responds to other fast movers.

If I only hear what AWACS tell, then will be better we only get the bullseye to bandit position. Only so I can get a better awareness.

 

There is a way in Options to set only AWACS calls from bullseye only? Without hit the integrity check.

If asked for a picture AWACS will give bullseye position.

If asked for a bogey dope AWACS will give BRA position.

I don't think that makes any difference, although I haven't worked with A-50s much.
