I want to get myself familiar with some A/A tactics. How to engage in BVR and duringe dogfight. Are there any detailed documents for this topic available ?

The "bible" is probably the late Robert 'Mouse' Shaw's "Fighter Combat: Tactics & Manoeuvring" book. Originally published over 30yrs ago it's dated wrt BVR combat but the BFM theory is still sound. Not only was ''Mouse' an experienced combat pilot, he was also a student of history who realised that even modern pilots could learn from the past. His book is littered with telling anecdotes from the likes Richthofen, Boyington and Olds which still resonate today,
