This is most likely a DCS problem, but I've only seen it happen in this campaign, so I'm not sure.

I've just done missions 2 and 3, requiring cold starts, and it would seem that the AI wingmen do not switch off their anti-collision lights after take-off. In any normal world i'd be able to ignore it, but unfortunately given the broken lighting situation in DCS... it's really annoying having your cockpit being lit up by flashing lights as your wingmen fly in formation.

Hopefully ED get around to fixing the lights soon, because it really is just silly at this point, but is there any way you could make the AI switch their lights off.. or never switch them on??

Nope, there is no control over the AI lights. Even after fencing in they often keep the anti-collision lights on.. for the time being you just need to ignore it I guess.

Ah well... I'll try my best!

I wonder why the AI is doing it, though... I've never noticed the anti-collision lights being kept on before :-S
