fitness88 Posted April 13, 2019 Posted April 13, 2019 How exactly does ATC communicate 'inbound" and "request nav assist." Where they tell me to fly has me going in circles, not sure of the understanding. Didn't seem to have this confusion when flying FC3 aircrafts. Thank you.
QuiGon Posted April 13, 2019 Posted April 13, 2019 The current ATC system is incredibly bad and will soon be replaced by a new one. Intel i7-12700K @ 8x5GHz+4x3.8GHz + 32 GB DDR5 RAM + Nvidia Geforce RTX 2080 (8 GB VRAM) + M.2 SSD + Windows 10 64Bit DCS Panavia Tornado (IDS) really needs to be a thing!
fitness88 Posted April 14, 2019 Author Posted April 14, 2019 Thanks for the info, too bad it used to work great in the old days. It would inform you when to make turns, alerting you go other aircraft etc.

Agree completely, but it has been incredibly bad as you point out for years, and nothing seems to happen to improve it.
