JabbyJabara Posted April 17, 2019 Posted April 17, 2019 Hello, I recently upgraded my computer and have reinstalled DCS solely on the SSD. Now I am getting instant crashes to desktop with any aircraft, any map within seconds of hitting the fly button. Log files are attached.dcs.log-20190417-111112.rar

FOXFIRE TWOONE Posted April 19, 2019 Posted April 19, 2019 This has been happening to me for months when I click fly. Started out just crashing too desktop. Then after a couple of updates it would go too complete computer shout down and restart. It stopped doing it for a few weeks then started over again after last update. When I originally posted about it, the reply's were DCS loves ram. Well I doubled my ram from 16 to 32 and it didn't change the crashing still goes too complete computer shout down sometimes. ChuckIV Posted April 20, 2019 Posted April 20, 2019 I think we all need to stop messing with our computers and wait to hear from ED. I'm pretty sure this is an Open Beta bug that will be fixed soon hopefully. Maybe ED will let us know soon so we don't all start making it worse for our systems. It has been almost two months since I posted about this and it is still happening. Its gotten so bad that I think my motherboard is now damaged. It is taking me days some times to get my computer to reboot. I am having to reset my CMOS, go into BIOS and reset all my settings. Run DCS for a few hour and the next time I launch mission click fly, and or if I am lucky enough to get into cockpit, launch rearm refuel window, ( click ok ), bam comp shut down. Now when I get comp back up and running I leave it running 24/7. If I shut it down myself it my not boot. The shutting down is only happening with the F-18:mad:. I am borderline giving up on DCS. Doesn't happen any other time I am on my computer.
