  1. Trying to join a server first time results in DCS World crashing to desktop. After then entering the application again - multiplayer join works. Sometimes it will crash again, its a fifty fifty chance at times
  2. Is it possible to delete all control measures whilst on the ground prior to flight? Or is there a way to set the option in mission editor that prevents the loading of all control measures which are not relevant to current flight? I am not a fan of having to delete control measures every start of a flight, because i want to use the points for actual relevant positions like battle positions and friendly units near my area etc.
  3. Similar to the P47 repair error with the landing gear struts not providing enough cushion and the repair dropping the aircraft hard. the Mosquito tailwheel fails again because it is dropped too hard on the ground
  4. I was just in a mission where a CBU-105 was engaged by the SA-15. So I believe the RCS is in error for the CBU-105 as well. What information source for the Tor M1 series shows its capable of intercepting a CBU-105, has there been any recorded in history to be intercepted?
  5. Request the ability to pan the kneeboard map around for WW2 and helicopters that lack GPS and INS systems in order to track where we are on the map. It is extremely limiting when multiplayer servers do not give waypoints on dynamic servers where the target is always different. This combined with allowing us to etch our position on the kneeboard via shift K means we can track where we are.
  6. Oh Oh cool. What does this review mean for fuses? More realism? More options? Perhaps some skipping logic? Cause it was working perfectly fine for the F16. Can you enlighten the users?
  7. Hello, None of the fuse settings in the F16 work anymore whether its the Mk84 air, Mk82, or Mk84 LDGP F16 Fuse Logic Fail.trk
  8. So I tested it on the same mission again after a slow full file check repair. I tried safety latch closed, half open, set to auto and force the high blower on. It worked fine passing 16000FT with the safety latch and auto set. Mustve been some weird gremlin or something wrong with the aircraft spawn.
  9. I'll feel a bit silly if so but ill also run a file repair
  10. This was on a multiplayer map with a cloud preset, ill check it again our squadron admin usually just has the mission file with fair weather cloud for picturesque scenes no dynamic weather or scripted weather. Maybe ill try setting the altimeter to ISA pressure passing 10000FT. Its odd - the system has not done this to me before. Even had the ram air, manually adjusting cooling flaps for maximum airspeed.
  11. Well the distance measurement coversion feature came with 2.8 - now we just need the ability to switch between lbs and kg for fuel loading and consideration of weight for take off
  12. Hello I recently did a flight in the P51 on Normandy map, standard conditions, fair weather and temperature. When passing by 15000FT the turbocharger blower does not automatically come on. I continued climbing from initial power setting of 42 inches eventually at full throttle and 2700RPM - went past 20000FT still nothing, Went to 25000FT still nothing until I forced it on by holding the spring guard and moving the switch to high. All previous updates the P51 turbocharger would come on automatically approx 14,500 - as it states in chucks guide and the flight manual that ED provides.
  13. Hello is it possible to have the conversion of units done seamlessly whilst in a server or singleplayer if using multiple aircraft from different nations? The reasons is because fuel requirements, weapon loads, navigation and weight systems for aircraft are easier to calculate depending on their units. For example the fuel for Mi24 Hind and Mi 8 are fuel load is in kg or litres and distance is in kilometres whereas the US units are in gals or lbs of fuel. For the rearm and refuel and ruler measurement on the F10 map view it would be a great Quality of Life change instead of exiting the server changing it in the menu game options.
  14. MEI CFI from Aussieland here, your best bet is not to rush anything like that. Standard procedure for a failure in multiengine is to throw all engine controls forward, Mixture, pitch and Power, gear up, flap up - in this exact order so as to not break engines. When the power comes on the aircraft will swing and thats when you apply rudder to centre the yaw ball or turn coordinator. Whatever leg is doing nothing that is your failed engine - "DEAD LEG, DEAD ENGINE". Even the most woeful underpowered civvie aircraft will maintain height under normal conditions let alone the power of a merlin and the mozzie being made out of wood is even better. So you should have plenty of time to get the aircraft trimmed and work out, what to pull and what not to pull. Youre dead right in regard to your scenario - many a civil pilot and probably military pilots with early twins have rolled and spun to their death cause of mishandling of a failure. Any number of NTSB reports and the pattern is the same, pilot loses engine, mishandles it, becomes low airspeed high power - typically a go around or take off scenario, cartwheels and crashes. Sometimes the case the engine was perfectly fine and it was starved of fuel or the mixture was too lean.
  15. Sadly, the navigator cannot even navigate on multiplayer servers only singleplayer or when hosting the mission. The cockpit is not synced between the pilot and navigator and the DF beacons do not work when a dedicated server puts down beacons to follow. So even local play wont work, unless everyone wants to follow the leader which is a single mosquito who is also the host
  16. Specs On DCS since the addition to new clouds - I have been getting the most irritating frequent stutters to a total freeze then back to 45 average in MP servers and singleplayer, all aircraft either high or low altitude. I have optimised to death with all the SSAO, SSL, AA to off. Muddled with the textures and slider bars to the point where the taxiway signs on airports are like trying to read with glaucoma. I have deep dived into nvidia control panel, I run game booster programs which unload RAM and disable useless programs. I have windows on SSD 500gb and 1tb SSD for DCS and video and music on a HDD. Besides an upgrade (Im aiming for a cpu change to 10th gen i9 which will require a MOBO change), am I missing here before i burn money?
  17. HARM Logic Error.trk Tacview-20220319-072554-DCS.zip.acmi
  18. A10 shakes like the MiG21 now. Is this new? wasnt mentioned in change log
  19. ED, What is the point of these modes and the HAD if your HARMS do not follow the logic of targeting separate sensors. EOM search field is supposed to be a narrow FOV and the POS PB is a wide FOV. I separated via steerpoints with one scenario and another with the HAD system. they all tracked the same SA6 regardless of others being separated by more than 10nm
  20. Hello ED, Is it possible for convenience to have the ability to change the unit type metric/imperial whilst in a server due to multiple aircraft uses in one play session - save the loading times of exiting in and out of server. It is really helpful for realistic servers which have no F10 or aircraft with basic navigation devices
  21. Sorry, can you explain that? Does that mean I'll have to unload 25 percent intervals?
  22. Mosquito won't allow unloading of fuel below 42%. If you try to load less than 42% it hangs for eternity and prevents the pilot from moving. The refuelling sound constantly loops
