Starting with the front panel

Electric tools used

Made out of 1/4" plywood, I don't have a clue if the measurement are right, i"m pretty sure they are not, lots of pics online but no measurement, it's built around a 22" monitor

Primed

Started to work on the UFC panel, used two key pad ,cut them in half to have all the needed push button, glued them together and added plexiglass on each side

I find that if you could have one original part of the front panel it would make it a lot easier to figure things out even if it's only a gauge, I checked ebay but there was nothing

Don't know why some images are not showing right, sorry

Awesome work, what keypads did you use? Just like USB ones?

Will you also re-use the keys?

Its always been the most challenging thing for me without a CNC router to make square buttons, drills are round, need a square drill!

I chose that model because the buttons are square and flat. Did a rough cut bellow the 4 5 6 + and used the beltsander to make the two part match perfectly

Yes , used those keypad just for the square buttons, like you said, making a square button without a cnc is a pain

Glued the half and piece together with

And the seams with crazy glue, works like a charm and sands easy

Nice start. Looking good.

Make sure that monitor gets some fresh air... otherwise it will overheat;)

You know what! I was actually thinking about that, I was going to put a back Ply cover but I think I wont, I will just tidy some of the wiring on each side of the monitor
