C3PO Posted April 19, 2019 Posted April 19, 2019 Hi - I have a new Logitech X52 and have installed the units software but am havinbg huge problems trying to get DCS to recognise the mini joystick button on the left throttle stick for slewing the radar cursor around. What's the best, simplest way of doing this please? Whenever I try to assign the button in control settings it won't see the ministick when I select it? I would also be grateful for any simple tips to load a proile to get all this going for the F18. Many thanks. I used to be able to do all this stuff for other sims but am at a bit of a loss here. Gierasimov Posted April 19, 2019 Posted April 19, 2019 I own X55 Rhino and that never worked in DCS, I remember there was a discussion on the topic in this forum. Nasder Posted April 19, 2019 Posted April 19, 2019 I have never gotten DCS to detect the mini-joystick, I went into the software for it and made a profile that made the inputs from the mini-joystick return keypresses, up, down, left and right. Then in DCS I mapped that to what I wanted ingame. /Nasder, "I came, I saw, I got shot down."
C3PO Posted April 20, 2019 Author Posted April 20, 2019 Yeah, think the mini joystick is a lost cause per se :( If anyone has a profile though would be v grateful :) Now: Water-cooled Ryzen 5800X + 64GB DDR 4 3600 (running at 3200) RAM + EVGA 3090 FTW3 Ultra 24 GB + Pimax Crystal Light + Add-on PCI-e 3.1 card + 2x1TB Corsair M.2 4900/4200 + TM HOTAS Warthog + TM TPR Pendular Rudder 'Engaged Defensive' YouTube Channel Modules: F/A-18C / AV-8B / F-16 / F-15E / F-4E / Persian Gulf / Syria / Nevada / Sinai / South Atlantic / Afghanistan / Iraq Backup: Water-cooled i7 6700K @ 4.5GHz + 32GB DDR4 3200MHz + GTX 1080 8GB + 1TB M.2 1k drive & 4K 40" monitor + TrackIR
Drag80 Posted April 20, 2019 Posted April 20, 2019 keep the controller properties window open and then try. also do not install the logitech programming software. In my experience it messes up lots of things.

oscar19681 Posted October 23, 2019 Posted October 23, 2019 Anyone have found a solution for this by any chance? I downloaded a profile for the x52 that came with a profile for the Logitech software as well to make the minimouse work in DCS but it doesn’t do much of anything at all. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
