Campaign crashing

Hey guys,

DCS keeps crashing on the first mission (the familiarization flight) of Georgian Hammer. I've attached my log, but being pretty new to DCS I'm not sure what to make of it. I've tried the mission half a dozen times now and get a crash every time, usually around waypoints 2-4 along the coast. (I am getting really good at cold starts though...)

I'm no pro at reading the logs, but these lines came right before a crash dump:

Seems like a GFX problem. I guess I'd try DCS repair first (All programs -> Eagle Dynamics -> DCS World -> Repair DCS World).

 

Next, I'd try to install a new graphics card driver (or maybe even an older one, if the problems appeared with a new driver).

 

If that doesn't help, I'd probably try to re-seat the graphics card.

 

Re-Installing DirectX would also be a good idea.

 

Do you have problems with crashes in any other games or 3D applications?

 

In any case, if the crash always happens in the same spot, that's a good thing, because it means you can reproduce it, and use that mission as a test-case for debugging. It's certainly annoying to run the same mission over and over again. But I had a faulty GFX card once and it would crash so randomly, I could never nail it down and for a long time I thought it was the MOBO. That was annoying as hell. ;)

I'll try the repair. Thing is though, this is only happening in DCS, and only in this mission.
