Is the TM Cougar MFD worth buying? How do most players use them? Specific example would be really helpful.

A lot of guys use them as stand-alone controllers that add a bit of panache to their pit . The pit-builders use them with monitors behind them for realistic operation , and VR guys use them as stand-alones for increased immersion .

Jumping in late to this conversation, but what do folks think about this LCD screen as a possible option for using behind 3 Cougar MFDS?

Based on my measurements, you should be able to perfectly place 3 MFDs side by side using this monitor.

The only point of hesitation on my part is the resolution. What do folks think about that limited 390 pixel resolution vertically? I don't know enough to predict if there would be any issues with image quality as compared to using smaller panels that would only fit 1-2 MFDs but which would have much higher resolutions (i.e. 1920 x 1080 or 1024 x 768.

Thanks for any thoughts you're willing to share!
