approach plates

How do I add approach plates to kneeboard?

I have the kneeboard program, create the kneeboard page, but it won't come up in the pit! don't think it is the correct folder

Hi

put your image files in these folders:

- for stable version

C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\Saved Games\DCS\KNEEBOARD\FA-18C_hornet

- for beta

C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\KNEEBOARD\FA-18C_hornet

DCS needs a lowercase file extension i.e. .jpg, .png, .bmp, etc.

 

If the image file has uppercase, DCS doesn't recognise it i.e. .JPG, etc.

I tested your 2 files in my install, and they were ok.

 

Note: The module folder name used in the kneeboard folder is also case sensitive, so it's important to use the same capitalisation as previously described i.e. "FA-18C_hornet"

• "RShift+K" to Open the Kneeboard

 

then

 

• "]" to page right, through several (depends on the number of waypoints) "map" pages to reach my custom pages.

 

OR

 

• "[" to page left, through the airport charts (53 for the Caucasus map) to reach my custom pages.

OK, found the problem! In the "saved Games" folder/ kneeboard folder it "_hornet" was missing! Now if I could get rid of most of the "charts" displayed I would be set! :)
