No Voice Attack aft 2.5.4.30386

Hi all, I was very much enjoying my Voice Attack/Viacom Pro in DCS until I updated to vers. 2.5.4.30386. Before I hit the sack last night all was working fine with my VA as it has been perfectly the last week or so. I updated then hit the hay and when I woke to check today, my Hornet is not being displayed in config box as it normally should and VA is not functioning. I'm not sure what to do now and wondering if there is anyway to restore to previous DCS vers. And also wondering if anyone else out there is having trouble with their VA atm after this latest update?

The shot I submitted is supposed to show FA-18C HORNET in the green screen in the config box.

I played today, after the update and all was good with VA and VAICOM.

I did have your problem in the past however, but it was due to the presence of too many specific static objects on the map. I tested a lot and apparently, the culprit was that I had too many oil and gas platforms present on the map. I have no idea how VAICOM is connected with Sea Shelf Objects, but that was what I found.

So, try to see if anything like that is happening in your case.

Thanks a bunch Harker. Funny thing is I ran the same mission heaps of times with VA/VP with no issues at all, same units , not changing anything in DCS settings or in ME and soon as I started VA after the Update. The DCS radio menu gets stuck on screen and as I mentioned in my initial whine, there’s no AC in my VP PTT screen config box thingy. Anyway, I’m totally bummed man as I was having so much fun tweaking and thinking up scenarios in new missions I want to create but since the update yesterday it’s all gone to poop. The only thing I did differently was plug in a ext USB mic which I just got, just to try it out so as I’m not wearing headset all the time and that’s when I noticed my VA not working correctly. I then unplugged it but still VA not firing in DCS. The VA box is working and recognising my words but my AC is not visible in that PTT box as screen shot showed. I don’t know what to try next. Thanks mighty for your input and advise Harker, I do appreciate it.

In the Viacom Pro for DCS World plugin window go to Configuration. There check if "Manage DCS-side files manually" is selected. If it is then make sure to add .lua back to DCS.

You can find out by going to DCS install directory and update backup folder.
