I've not read if TFR will be implemented in the f-16, this is a very important feature, do you know anything about it?

US Block 50 F-16s don't use TFRs. So you won't get it, and that's why you haven't read anything about it. ;)

The TFR wasn't available on the F-16 Block 50's until after the time frame ED is doing.

 

The only other USAF/ANG F-16's with TFR's are the Block 40/42's with the navigation pod as part of the complete LANTIRN system

Imagine how large the warehouses would have to be for ED to be able to store all the cash they'd get if they offered different blocks as $5 addons, kind of like the NS430 cockpit integration packages…

I expect not that big, since the $5 addon probably wouldn't come close to covering the salary costs of staff involved, let alone any other expenses incurred.

I agree with this idea. I would buy the Viper addon with no more than $20 top. Bring it on please

Since it would be a matter of a one or two systems bolted onto a pre-existing framework, it really shouldn't take much of either. The research might require a bit of document binging, but the difficult (and possibly costly) part of that would be to find and convince someone that it's actually ok to hand over the documents to begin with.

 

…granted, that means lawyers have to get involved, so I guess you're right. $400 per addon it is. :P

AAQ-13 does not have the generality of GNS-430. It can only be mounted on F-16/15.
