Excessive drag when 6x AIM-7M are loaded. At 30k ft full burner, I struggle to get above mach 1.1. With 6x AIM-54 I have no problem at all.

Also, there is a huge increase in drag with 4x AIM-9M's loaded.

I'll post drag races as evidence... It may be the launchers causing the drag with the AIM-9's, but the AIM-7's shouldn't cause more drag than AIM-54's

If you take the TALDs and 4 Zuni pods, you're as slow as an A-10 if you stay out of AB. The problem is the drag of the racks, that's why the 2 outer SWs are good, but the other 2 on the SP/PH capable stations is not. Can't explain the SP case though, as they literally have no racks, just recesses. AFAIK that all is something HB doesn't have control over, it's ED's job to fix this. The Hornet has these issues as well, especially with rocket pods and Sparrows on wing pylons. But also the other way round, if you take Mk83s on dual racks and drop them, leaving the racks on, your plane gets even faster than usual. They once said it's all WIP.

When you have a LANTIRN on 8B and rockets on 1B, there seems an excessive amount of drag to the starboard.  As if the LANTIRN has no drag assigned to it.  A double rocket pod looks like it has more surface area at the front to create more drag, but still feels excessive.  Am I wrong?

Zuni's are incredibly draggy

Happy to be wrong.  I love that these subtleties are modelled.  I'm guessing this load-out was not used IRL then?  Makes takeoff etc pretty hairy. Can we jettison the empty rocket dispensers from the front seat, without a human RIO?  I didn't realise we could set unsafe/unstable loadouts.  Cool!

EDIT: After today's patch, loadout variation has changed.  I look forward to trying it out when I get home from work.
