There is a new indication on the EW page under emitters. It's a half-circle that appears to show in certain situations which I can't 100% pinpoint regardless of which of the 3 bands the emitter is in. What exactly does this mean?

Also, I've seen an emitter flash in the middle band. What does that mean? (Before, they only flashed when in the inner band.)

Nope, thats a line under the rwr contact, circle means friendly.

If you mean a semi circle under the symbol, it means it's tracking you.
I realized Yea I meant the circle under, not on top (friendly airborne). Ahh, right. So the inner and middle bands must now have new criteria- previously, outer was anything not tracking, middle was tracking, inner was shooting.

Do you know what the flashing emitter in the middle band means? And also, what do the middle and inner bands mean now?

How do you reproduce something tracking you but not in middle band? I haven't been able to.

Flashing means it's guiding a missile at you.

Middle = lethal, inner = critical, outer = non lethal. This is what they always mean, but I don't think the actual definition is publicly available (ie each dev has to make a reasonable guess).

Try the BVR 8v8 instant action mission. Saw it on there.

And hmm, must mean that in our Hornet guiding a missile does not always necessarily mean critical. I saw it flash while lethal, not just critical, in that mission.
